We enjoyed the comfy beds and awesome city center location! A few issues with cleanliness and noise from the nightclub next door, but it was a decent spot for exploring Edinburgh's best. Just pack some earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

Really lovely overall experience. Excellent and fantastic location in the heart of the city, and only about 5 minutes' walk to Edinburgh centre. For tea or coffee visit Florentine nearby. Plenty of goodies for breakfast.

perfect location, low cost, numerous nearby attractions
The noise levels were unbearable with a nightclub nearby open until 3am!!! Earplugs provided didn't help, and the shower pole was loose without any warning about hot water. More towels would be nice too!!!

Location couldn't be better, right in the heart of the city. I appreciated the ease of checking in and getting my key. The Standard Double Room was well-equipped with tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries, and a tv. The Irish bar next door created significant noise for two of my nights. The pillows weren't very comfortable, and I found the bed a bit hard. I had issues with the windows not opening, leaving the room feeling a bit stale. It was like there were trade-offs between the great location and the comfort of my visit. I enjoyed the helpful communication from the staff, allowing me to check out late, but the soundproofing could definitely use some work.
